Nolan Carroll
CFI
Director of Maintenance

Nolan is a graduate of Purdue University’s Professional Flight and Aviation Management Program. Nolan is from Georgia and is excited to bring his passion of aviation to Aspen. He has been flying since a young age, soloing on his 16th birthday and getting his private certificate when he was 17. In his free time, Nolan likes to mountain bike, hike, and travel. Nolan can’t wait to help you achieve your goals in aviation!

Michael Kim

CFI
Director of Operations
Micharlkim@gmail.com

Michael obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Professional Flight, and his Master’s in Aviation and Aerospace Management, both from Purdue University.
Michael’s journey into aviation began at his father’s restaurant at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia. Mesmerized by the many planes taking off and landing, he knew he wanted to become a pilot.
Michael came to the United States to learn as much as he could from a world-renowned university. Grateful for the many memories and invaluable experiences he gained in the United States, he decided to stay and contribute back to the aviation community. He now brings his knowledge and skills to the valley.

Michael looks forward to the day he can fly into Ngurah Rai Airport, not as a passenger, but as a pilot, bringing his journey to a full circle.

Charles Moore

CFI
Assistant Chief Flight Instructor

Charles came to Aspen Flight Academy from lovely small town Indiana. He has been instructing for almost two years and also spent a year and a half flying corporate jets. His favorite maneuver to teach is short approaches. His favorite thing to do other than fly is work on his car, watch sports with his friends, or talk about flying. His favorite airports that he has landed at are KSAN, KMCX, and of course KLAF. If you hear a “howdy” or “seeya” on frequency, it is most likely him.
